To the point that I've made contacts within Lockheed Martin's higher ups. A week before happy celebration-of-the-destruction-of-native-peoples day there was the Aerospace convention which all the major companies came out to display their works and to get ideas for new ones.
I was wise enough to join up as a student and was lucky enough to meet the President of Lockheed, as well as the Texas State Governor himself.
It was a lot of fun, and I also got some wind tunnel guys as well as other needed testing equipment contacts that I'll no doubt need.
Currently I'm going to be recreating the Turbokat itself, into a working jet with full VTOL capabilities. As this is a huge and costly hobby, it won't be built in the next 2 decades; although if I'm lucky to have a few oil buddies of mine let me tap into their supply I might be able to get a airframe together - but everything else will have to be found up somewhere else.
In anycase, whoot!

You are where you belong. There are a couple of minor details missing, and I fear there is one you may never gain, but you are where you belong. ~Maereen Drustalt © veychyryn
